What a clever idea! Three floors for three bedrooms and adjoining bathrooms, all contained in a mini doll's house that could be from your childhood dreams. Because 3 is not too many or too few, because 3 times 2 (each bedroom has a double bed) makes 6 and 6 is just the right number for maintaining an intimate atmosphere or spending time together (if it has been rented among friends). Whether coming from Paris, Amsterdam, New York or London, guests will appreciate the perfect feel of the decor which is neither too over the top, nor too "boudoir".
In other words, you feel good in all of the rooms (each floor/bedroom has its own colour scheme: gray, taupe and red) at Be & Be. A nice Epicurean detail is the fact that the adjoining bathrooms are almost as big as the bedrooms. You will be quite happy to leave your barely opened vanity case here, before dashing out to have breakfast on the corner of the street (Naturalcaffé), going shopping (the house is 15 metres from the avenue Louise), or visiting exhibitions (the Architecture Foundation is 60 metres away).
Be & Be is the name of this little house (which is also the nickname of the daughter of Susan who initiated the project) consisting of three bedrooms and bathrooms, a small living room and mini kitchen on the ground floor.
Be & Be is the ingenious idea of a woman whose observations skills match her interior design talents, who is as much a traveller as she is a lover of good things. Cleverly combining the useful and the delightful, Susan has achieved the perfect amount of patina, the perfect degree of period detail (such as old-fashioned wardrobes and delicate china), with the assistance of her interior design partner Raoul Cavadias.
It is rumoured that the 1930s style house was home to young girls... is that their laughter we hear, or perhaps their confidences? There is no lyricism here, just poetry. A little jewel on rue Paul Spaak (a stone's throw from the avenue Louise, in the charming Ixelles neighbourhood of Brussels), Be & Be also boasts the luxury of flat screens and wifi.
The first to arrive will be able to enjoy the terrace on the third and last floor, offering a breath of fresh air and greenery right in the heart the city.

For those people you don't really want in your own home and those who you can't think where to house, Be & Be is a real godsend. Finding a place which could be an extension of your own home is quite a feat. And this feat is successfully realised by Susan who after each stay, whether it's for a night or a week, and whether one room or all three are taken, attends to every detail so that fruit bowls are always full, flowers are always fresh and there is always a good supply of books. She is an excellent and discreet host, since you will only meet her when she hands you the keys. The greatest recommendation is that regulars are already looking forward to coming back.
